No. You can browse our menus and start placing your order without registering. Before you checkout, we will ask you for basic contact information so that we can send you an e-mail confirmation of you order and a give you a courtesy call on the day prior to your order to let you know your delivery is on schedule.

CaterDMV offers a wide variety of food through multiple restaurants that we own and operate. We carefully select ‘best of class’ food to give you the best variety all from one source. Our most popular items include appetizer platters, box lunches and hot buffets. We will gladly arrange anything from the basic to whatever your needs might be for your events, which could include serving at your event.

No problem. You can select a different delivery location for each order. We will store all of your delivery locations for even faster ordering on future orders.

CaterDMV does not have a minimum order for pickup.  For any Breakfast Delivery, our minimum is $50.  For any Lunch or Dinner Delivery, our minimum is $100.

No mayo? No problem! You can add special instructions to every order and even to specific menu items within that order. You can even assign names and individual requests to your box lunch orders.

Because our restaurants have to plan ahead to fill you order, we ask that you cancel orders as follows:
With less than 24 hours notice, you will be responsible for 50% of the payment to the extent that food and transaction costs have been incurred toward the fulfillment of your order.

CaterDMV has a standard 7% gratuity on all orders which is part of your total price.  We offer two delivery fees depending where you are located.  All orders delivered in Washington DC are subject to a 5% delivery fee with a minimum of $10.  Anything delivered outside of Washington DC will incur a $20 delivery fee for the first 5 miles.  Any additional miles will be priced as $5 per mile.

Yes. Before you can pay via invoice you must be approved for credit. If you would like to apply for a CaterDMV account, please contact our call center at or 301.927.6400. and simply email or fax the completed application back to us. Please note that approval process requires 3-5 business days, and that your order is not confirmed until payment is arranged. If your order delivery date is within 5 business days, please use a credit card for payment.  Our policies for a billing account are as follows:
o   A client must do one of the following to become eligible:
§  Minimum of $1000 in orders in a calendar month
§  Order 3 times in a calendar month

Getting Started What Happens after you Click the Place Order Button
Before being presented with the online menu, there are some basic questions that need to be asked to better help us process your order. If you wish to skip these questions, you can click on “Jump Right To Menu”. You can always answer the questions later on.
Viewing the Main Ordering Screen
The main ordering screen is split into two areas. The menus are on the left and the Guest Check (where your order is written) is on the right.
Selecting a Menu Item
To select a menu item, click on the price. A box will appear. Indicate how many of the selected item you wish. If you have special instructions, type them in. Special instructions can be anything you want the restaurant to know about the food you selected (how it should be cooked, what ingredients should be added or omitted, etc). You do not have to enter special instructions. Click continue to select the item or cancel if you change your mind. If you click continue the selected item will move to the Guest Check.
The Guest Check
The Guest Check contains all of your selected items. Clicking on the will remove a selected item. Clicking on an item description will allow you to modify the selected item. The bottom of the check contains the estimated total. Special instructions and other factors might affect the final price. That is why the total is only estimated. We do not collect money through the website. The final price and payment will be established at pickup time. Once you are satisfied with your order, click on the Submit Order button. To back out, click on Cancel Order.
What Happens After Clicking Submit Order
We require that you fill out some additional basic information.
  • Your Name/Phone Number – We need your name and telephone number in case we have some questions about your order.
  • Misc Order Info – If there is something general about the order that you need to tell us, here is your chance.
  • Email Address – Your order is sent to our fax machine. Once we receive the fax, we will send you an email confirmation.
Final Validation
You are presented with a final screen with the ability to either complete,change, or cancel Your Order.
